Earlier, the Narcotics Control Bureau had confirmed that Bollywood actress and prime accused in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, Rhea Chakraborty had revealed names of Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Simone Khambatta for being involved in drug consumption.
The ongoing investigation into the case has revealed some more names from the Hindi film industry and the revelations are shocking, to say the least.
According to reports by Republic and Times Now, some chats related to the procurement and consumption of drugs have come under the scrutiny of the NCB. These chats involve two main individuals and their initials go as D and K.
The latest development in the case has media speculating that the D represents renowned Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. Also, the initial ‘K’ stands for Karishma. Though social media users have been claiming that the Karishma whose name has surfaced in the drug chat, is the 90s superstar Karisma Kapoor, the information is incorrect. The Karishma in this case is reportedly an employee of the KWAN Talent Management Agency. She is also the manager of Deepika Padukone and will be interrogated tomorrow, September 22nd, by the agency.
The Narcotics Control Bureau is all set to summon the Padmaavat actress in connection to the drug case later this week as well. Another popular Bollywood actress who may be summoned by the Bureau is Sushant Singh Rajput’s Chhichhore co-star, Shraddha Kapoor.
However, Deepika Padukone is not in town now. She had already left Mumbai last week. Many Bollywood reports suggest that the actress had flown to Goa to start a shooting for an upcoming movie. Whether she will be back for the interrogation or not, is not confirmed yet.
