To compare Gaurav to a Bollywood celebrity would not be a stretch. A pilot by profession who put his livelihood on the line for the safety of people he perhaps doesn’t even know and losing his job for the same, Gaurav Taneja is an icon in every sense of the word.
While he fights for the right, he doesn’t miss to explore new talent in himself. During the months of lockdown, the star of two successful YouTube channels, Flying Beast and Fit Muscle TV has discovered yet another gift he has and launched his third channel Rashbhari ke Papa.
In complete awe of the multi-talented vlogger, we decided to chase him and get to know more about him.
What is the content on the channel about? It’s mentioned in the release that it’s a gaming channel, what games do you talk about?
The content on the channel is basically a live interaction between me and our subscribers which is done while I am toying with airplane simulator games, PUBG as well as other games. Also, I am very vocal about the major incidents of the Indian economy and their impact on the country and its future like the recent case of Air India Express among others.
How long have you been into vlogging?
I have been vlogging for the past 2 years and 8 months.
You are a certified nutritionist, a professional bodybuilder, and a Pilot, and you make vlogs. How do you make time for all the things? Or you concentrate only on one thing at a time?
I have trained myself over the years to make time for everything. Ever since I was young there was a burning desire in me to chase everything I wanted and vlogging, bodybuilding as well as my career in the airline industry are pretty much what I envisioned when I was young. I know that to be successful you need to go through the hard grind which is why I don’t waste even a single minute of my day as I have organized it well with a tight schedule that keeps me on my toes and allows me to hit the gym, make interactive videos as well as keep up to date on what is going in the airline industry.
How and why did you start putting videos for YouTube? Were you interested in showbiz as a kid also?
I was working full time as an airline captain and was in love with fitness which pushed me to compete professionally. There were a lot of people in the gym who used to come and ask me for the fitness tips. I was very camera shy and introvert to begin with but my resistance had to yield when one day I was giving fitness tip to someone and someone made a Facebook live video and tagged me in it. People loved that video as it was the first time on YouTube that someone was talking scientifically about bodybuilding. Everyone told me to make more of such videos on different body parts. Hence, I started making fitness videos. During this process, I learnt filmmaking and camera editing work and started vlogging which was how my journey started.
What are your future plans?
After receiving so much love on social media I cannot possibly turn it off otherwise I will be letting all my subscribers as well as my family down. I plan on continuing all my channels as they cover all the aspects of my life I love that is flying, fitness, gaming, and spending time with my amazing family. Apart from that I also want to raise my voice against societal evils that are currently affecting our society so that we as a nation become more conscious about what we should tolerate and what we shouldn’t so that we leave a better world for our children and the coming generations.
