We have lost the legendry singer of the early 90s, S. P. Balasubrahmanyam earlier this afternoon. The 74-year-old singer was admitted at Chennai’s MGM Healthcare since August 5 after contracting Covid-19. He breathed his last at 1:04 PM on September 25. The singer has put a brave fight against Coronavirus and had tested negative on September 5. But he succumbed to cardio-respiratory conditions. MGM Healthcare’s official statement reads that despite maximal life support measures, the singer died of a cardio-respiratory arrest.
Singer, musicians and other notable personalities from the industry along with Prime Minister Modi tweet extending their last respects to the iconic artist whose voice had once become Salman Khan’s identity.
